各所に外部空間へ繋がる仕掛けをもたせたおおらかな家

敷地は市街地の小高い丘にある。計画にあたって隣地との高低差がある敷地の特性を活かしてプライバシーを保ちつつ眺望を楽しんだり、積極的に庭やテラスへとつながる仕掛けをもった開放感のある住空間をつくりたいと考えた。

開放感のある住空間をつくるうえで、寝室や浴室などプライバシーを守りたい空間と眺望を楽しむ明るく開放的なLDKを明快に分けて奥行きのあるゾーニングを計画した。
この2つのボリュームに分けることで光と風が抜ける中庭をつくり出し、内部空間に広がりを与えることが可能となった。
そのほかにも、リビングから繋がる多様な居場所が、都会の喧騒から離れてのどかに暮らすシーンをつくり出す。そして、片流れの垂木は視線を庭へと誘い、室内空間と屋外を一体に感じることができる。

居住空間に外部空間への広がりや繋がりを感じることができる半屋外の中間領域を点在させることで、おおらかに外部環境とつながり、建築が主張しすぎることなく、ただ心地よいと感じられる「多様な場」となり、寛容性のある住宅となることを願っている。（田中義彰）

The site is located on a small hill in the city. Therefore, I wanted to create a living space with a sense of openness, taking advantage of the difference in elevation between the site and the neighboring land to enjoy the view while maintaining privacy and actively connecting to the garden and terrace.
To create a living space with a sense of openness, we planned zoning with depth by clearly dividing the space where we wanted to protect privacy, such as the bedroom and bathroom, and the bright and open LDK to enjoy the view.
By dividing the space into these two volumes, we created a courtyard that allows light and wind to pass through, giving the interior space a sense of spaciousness.
In addition to this, the various living spaces connected to the living room create a peaceful living scene away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The single-flowing rafters invite the eye to the garden, and the interior space and the outdoors can be felt as one.

By interspersing the living spaces with semi-outdoor intermediate areas that give a sense of spaciousness and connection to the outside, we have created a generous connection to the outside environment. I also hope that the architecture will not be too assertive but become a “diverse place” where people feel comfortable and that the house will be tolerant. (Yoshiaki Tanaka)
